Under the denomination 'Numismatic Jewels', in 2008 a new series of collector coins was created whose main motive is the reproduction of singular pieces of Hispanic numismatics.

The IX issue of the series "Numismatic Jewels" is dedicated to mintings of the House of Habsburg.

This gold coin reproduces the obverse and reverse of a piece of four Escudos of Charles II, minted in 1687.
