EUROSET PROOF 2026 

This coinset consists of the 2026 circulating coins, struck using traditional craftsmanship with specially treated blanks and dies to achieve the highest quality—proof quality. It is presented in a limited edition of 1,500 sets.

It includes the two commemorative €2 coins issued during 2026.

€2 Commemorative Coin – Article 49 of the Spanish Constitution 

One of the commemorative coins, entitled “Spain and Disability: Protection, Rights and Inclusion,” is dedicated to the amendment of Article 49 of the Spanish Constitution. This reform aligns both its content and terminology with the principles set out in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, ratified by Spain, and reinforces the commitment of public authorities to protect and promote the rights of persons with disabilities. The issuance of this coin also serves as a means of showcasing, at the European level, Spain’s commitment to the values of dignity, equality, and inclusion that underpin its social and democratic state governed by the rule of law, while highlighting a constitutional reform of significant historical and social importance.

€2 Commemorative Coin – Poblet Monastery

The second coin, continuing the theme established by Order EHA/3423/2009 of 9 December concerning commemorative coins dedicated to sites included on the UNESCO World Heritage List, is devoted to Poblet Monastery, located in the province of Tarragona. Founded in the 12th century, this Cistercian monastery is one of the most important monastic complexes in Europe and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is renowned for its impressive fortified architectural complex and for having served as the royal pantheon of the Crown of Aragon, where several of its monarchs are buried. Its abbey church, cloister, and the walls surrounding the complex reflect the historical, spiritual, and artistic significance of this remarkable site, regarded as one of the best-preserved medieval monasteries in Spain.
