On 14 November 2024, the centenary of the first radio broadcast in Spain, The Royal Spanish Mint issues a commemorative silver coin.
The reverse shows an image of a microphone and helmets, together with the face value of the coin, 10 EURO, the years 1924 - 2024 and a graphite depicting radio waves.
The obverse shows an allegorical image of a radio emitting words and musical notes, on a background in the shape of the map of Spain, the legend ESPAÑA, radio waves and the legend CENTENARIO DE LA RADIO (CENTENNIAL OF RADIO).
