19th June 2014 marks a historic event: the Proclamation of H.M. Felipe VI as King of Spain.
Fabrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre - Real Casa de la Moneda (FNMT RCM) makes available a commemorative case of this event. This kit includes 2 euro commemorative coin dedicated to the "Proclamation of His Majesty King Philip VI" as "proof" and the medal, following tradition, was coined at the time of the Proclamation of SM Philip VI., In a limited edition of 10,000 copies.
2 euro coin proof:
On the front, in the central area of the coin, the overlapping effigies of His Majesty King Philip VI, first of all, and His Majesty King Juan Carlos, secondly appear.
Medal minted in sterling silver, with a diameter of 40 mm. and a weight of 27 grams.
The obverse contains a reproduction of the royal crown and the text Felipe VI King of Spain.
The reverse reproduces an allegory of Spain embracing the Constitution, founded on a composition by the sculptor Ponciano Ponzano that embellishes the pediment of the Chamber of Deputies building and the date 19th June 2014.
