PROCLAMATION FELIPE VI (2024) 50 EURO COIN
Since the origins of the Mint, founded in 1615 by Royal Decree of Philip III, our institution and the Crown have been closely linked. So much so that, even in 1718, the then Mint became directly managed by the Crown, which demonstrates the close ties that both have maintained over time.
It is precisely because of these ties that The Royal Spanish Mint has been pleased over the years to reach out to the Royal House through special editions and coin collections that reflect, even more if possible, the importance of the Crown, both for the history of our country as well as for today's society.
