This issue includes the collection of the Spanish euro coins of the year 2024, presented in a limited edition, in a practical numbered blister pack that protects the coins and, at the same time, allows the perfect visualisation of both sides of the coins.
The maximum mintage of this blister pack with coins minted in 2024 is 10,000 units.
This year the collection includes two commemorative 2 Euro coins, one dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the Spanish National Police and the other to the monumental complex formed by the ‘Cathedral, Alcázar and Archive of the Indies of Seville’, declared World Heritage in 1987.

Exceptionally, 2 commemorative 2 Euro coins have been minted in 2024 and are included in the Euroset 2024.
2 Euro coin commemorating the monumental complex formed by the ‘Cathedral, Alcázar and Archive of the Indies of Seville’.
These three buildings form an admirable monumental ensemble in the heart of Seville. The Cathedral and the Alcázar are two exceptional testimonies of the Almohad civilisation and of Christian Seville, whose art was strongly influenced by the Muslim influence from the time of the reconquest of the city (1248) until the 16th century. The ancient minaret of the Giralda, a masterpiece of Almohad architecture, stands at the side of the cathedral. This five-nave church is the largest Gothic building in Europe and houses the colossal tomb of Christopher Columbus. The former fish market, now the Archive of the Indies, houses invaluable documents from the Spanish colonies in America.
2 Euro coin commemorating the 200th anniversary of the Spanish National Police.
The Spanish National Police is a civilian armed institution with a hierarchical structure whose mission is to protect the free exercise of the rights and freedoms of citizens, as well as to guarantee their security. Its sphere of action is the entire national territory.
13 January 1824 is considered the date on which the Spanish Police Force was founded. The year 2024 marks the 200th anniversary of this date, so to celebrate this event the Royal Spanish Mint is issuing this commemorative 2 euro coin.
