The Royal Spanish Mint makes available to the public the fourth issue of gold bullion ounces.
On this occasion, the reverse of the coin is dedicated to the imperial eagle, one of Spain's most iconic animals.
The obverse features the image of a Columnario, also known as Spanish dollar or piece of eight. Since this coin was widely used in Europe, America and the Far East, this piece is considered the first world currency.
Unlike standard collector coins, which have a fixed price, the selling price of bullion coins is calculated By taking the gold price at the time of purchase, plus 10%.
Important: In accordance with article 103, letter b) of the Royal Legislative Decree 1/2007, of 16 November, which approves the revised text of the General Law for the Defence of Consumers and Users and other complementary laws, bullion coins are excluded from the right of cancellation, from the moment in which the purchase is formalised.
