COIN PURSE 40 EUR 2025 JUAN SEBASTIÁN DE ELCANO INSTRUCTION CRUISE
The Princess of Asturias is taking part in the XCVII Instruction Cruise on board the training ship Juan Sebastián de Elcano as part of her military training in the Spanish Navy. For six months, together with other midshipmen, she will travel thousands of nautical miles visiting several countries and receiving instruction in navigation, manoeuvres and life on board. This experience, which her father and grandfather already had, is fundamental for her preparation as a future captain general of the Armed Forces and reinforces her commitment to service and military values. In addition, the cruiser has an important representative and diplomatic role for Spain. The FNMT-RCM is issuing a 40 euro collector's coin in sterling silver.
