A 30 euro collector's coin in sterling silver (925 mm) is issued as a tribute to the heroes of Covid-19. Thank you to all the essential services personnel. They are the real heroes in the fight against the coronavirus.

The obverse features the superimposed effigies of Their Majesties King Felipe and Queen Letizia. The upper part of the coin bears the legend FELIPE VI AND LETIZIA. At the bottom of the coin, the legend ESPAÑA (SPAIN) and the year of issue 2020.

On the reverse, occupying the central part of the coin, is the map of Spain; above this image the value of the coin is 30 EURO. Below the image of the map is the quadruple image composed of the crowned M (mintmark of the Royal Mint), an image of applause, a representation of the virus and the number 20, for the year of mintage. Below the quadruple image is the legend "GRACIAS" and to the left of it the mintmark image. Surrounding these motifs are 10 pictograms representing a number of important trades during this period of pandemic.

In the exchange version, the coin is presented in a transparent plastic wrapper, as shown in the image.

30 EURO COIN 2020 COVID-19 (EXCHANGE)

The year 2020 has been marked by the global pandemic of COVID-19. In recognition of some of the key groups that have stood out in the fight against this disease, the Royal Mint has issued this year's commemorative coin of 30 euros in homage to all of them.

It should also be noted that this is a coin of solidarity, since by acquiring it you are contributing to the fight against COVID-19.

On the reverse side, the map of Spain appears in the colours of the flag. Below the map image is a quadruple image consisting of the crowned M (the Royal Mint's mint mark), an image of applause, a representation of the virus and the number 20, for the year of issue. Below the quadruple image is the caption 'GRACIAS'. Surrounding this central part are ten pictograms paying tribute to some of the essential workers, heroes and heroines during this pandemic.
